Harold Home Portraits are hand-illustrated by our talented digital artists. Each portrait is created using a manual & highly technical design process. We do not use filters or apps.
Step 1: The Photo The photo you upload with your order will be used by our artists as their inspiration for the illustrated portrait.
Step 2: The Finishes Customize your portrait with a black or white frame (or just the poster version) and add an optional line of text, such as your family name or a memorable date.
Step 3: The Proof Receive your artwork proof to approve in 3 days or less. Request unlimited revisions until you're 100% happy. Once you're ready, we'll push your order into production, quality check and shipping.

Receive your free artwork preview in 1-3 days. Orders arrive within 5-7 days after you approve your artwork. Review all shipping and production times in our Shipping Guide.
Upload your photo, choose your artwork style and we’ll take care of the rest from there. You will receive your artwork to review in 3 days or less after placing your order and may request unlimited revisions until your artwork is to your liking.
You don’t have to be a professional photographer. All we need is a photo that is clear and has good light. If we notice an issue with your photo, we’ll contact you to send a new one.
I ordered as a gift for my daughter in her new home. I am so happy with the results! I had included a photo that I had taken as well as a photo from Zillow. I included requests to add some of the landscaping she had added—that was visible in my my photo, and also to remove a tree that partially obscured the front door in the Zillow photo & use the front door from my photo. They got every detail perfect!! My daughter loved the gift!! And the font used for the address is beautiful!! I will definitely use this site again!!

Everything was great from the ordering process to the fast delivery…. The portrait looks good…. If I had one suggestion I would have liked a lighter look….but it still looks great!
It took longer than I was hoping, but I didn't want to order too far ahead of closing in case it fell apart. Then I changed the frame color to match the add-on (so glad I did!) from white so that was a delay - but so worth it!
